Engineering manufcaturing company based in Golden, CO is seeking a Senior Sustaining Engineer to help join their technical team. Ideal candidate will have a background within mechanical engineering utilizing Solidworks for design.
Description:
- 50% Design work 50% Hands on work with equipment
- General understanding of industry manufacturing Standards, including
- Prior experience with ISO-9001
- Experience in design of fixtures
- Background with material handling/holding equipment
- Mechanical devices for work processing and some automation
Top Skills Details:
- 5 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer
- Prior experience with sheet metal or machine design
- Proficiency in Soldiworks Design
Design, sheet metal, weldments, Mechanical engineer, Solidworks
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1) Conduct technical analysis, evaluation, and calculations in support of customer projects. This will include analysis of customer documentation, specifications, and drawings. Furthermore, this will include developing and implementing a technical plan or strategy for meeting customer requirements.
2) Conduct specialized studies on new technologies. This will include Research & Development efforts, as well as interfacing with industry experts to derive optimal solutions.
3) Participate or conduct Client driven initiatives that are intended to improve operational capability.
