Description:

- Performs all aspects of design for high voltage (4kV – 230kV) and EHV (above 230kV) substation projects

- Development of general arrangements plan views/elevation views, and grounding plans

- Provide specifications for major primary equipment (transformers, breakers, switches, etc.)

- Ability to perform grounding, lighting, AC/DC, and bus fault analysis studies

- Provide technical support for procurement and construction

- Ability to impact multiple projects in a fast pace environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- 7 years of Physical Substation experience

- Familiarity with programs for lightning or grounding studies such as CDEGS or WinIGS

- Strong familiarity with the NEC and National Electrical Safety Code
