Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with Commercial experience for our office in The Villages and Ocala, FL. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the completion of specific tasks and the performance of Commercial construction projects in these areas of Florida.

Hard Skills

Build strong relationships with stakeholders

Maintain project cost accounting

Develop and maintain job schedule

Partner with Preconstruction Services for value engineering/constructability

Negotiate major subcontractor agreements

Manage execution of contracts

Monitor budgets, schedules, cost reports

Manage change orders

Resolve major disputes with vendors and subcontractors

Manage startup and commissioning of facility

Provide owner training to the end user

Soft Skills

Ability to maintain a positive company image

Negotiation skills

Ability to facilitate coordination and progress meetings

Ability to review and approve payments and invoices

Ability to track and evaluate change management

Ability to monitor the submittal and purchase order process

Ability to manage contracts and warranties

Ability to resolve major disputes

Ability to report financial information and performance

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully in person role. Time will be spent in Sanford office as well as on site in Ocala and The Villages.

Work Environment

The work environment will be a mix between the office and job sites in the Villages and Ocala, FL.
