Job Duties:

• Troubleshoots issues for internal and external customers by phone and on-site if necessary.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems and develop solutions.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Prepares a repair order showing time, cost, and labor estimates for service.
• Guides customers on how to use equipment properly.
• Creates an internal work order for service tech listing what repairs are necessary.
• Schedules service appointments.
• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
• Helps in implementing and maintaining a service marketing program.
• Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted.
• Helps in implementing a quality control process to eliminate comebacks.
• Provide technical service support to inside and outside customers.
• Provide onsite field training for various products.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years experience with service or maintenance of machinery
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Experience with troubleshooting equipment
• Experience with customer support
• Experience within a manufacturing environment
