Job Summary: Certified Nursing Assistants, or CNAs, assist nurses and other medical staff by providing direct personal care for patients. This entry-level position is best suited for someone who genuinely cares for others’ well-being.

Certified Nursing Assistant Compensation and Benefits:

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Help clients with daily activities, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, serving meals, helping clients eat, turning clients and ambulating clients
• Take vital signs
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Examine clients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Provide and empty bedpans
• Lift clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.
• Clean and sanitize client areas, including changing bed sheets
• Stay up-to-date on CNA training, policies and procedures
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Certified Nursing Assistant Requirements:

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of current training program
• Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
