Job Description:
As a Fire Alarm/Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you'll be responsible for servicing, inspecting, and testing sprinkler and fire alarm systems according to industry standards. Your duties include identifying compliance issues, conducting pre-inspection interviews, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and test systems, generating deficiency reports with proposed corrections.
- Perform additions to sprinkler heads.
- Execute tenant improvements.
- Service fire extinguishers, emergency lights, hydrants, restaurant hood systems, and correct deficiencies.
- Collaborate with the Inspection Technician Lead to ensure timely completion of scheduled work.
- Attend and complete all mandatory safety training sessions.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Valid fitter card
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to travel daily to various sites.
- Physical strength to handle tools and equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Capability to work in challenging positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
- Willingness to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders multiple times per day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
