We're excited to announce that we're currently seeking second shift production associates to join our team at our Caledonia location. As a Production Associate, you'll play a crucial role in producing high-quality corrugated or chip packaging products for our customers, while promoting our corporate vision, mission statement, and core values.

And the best part? You'll get to enjoy a longer weekend! Our second shift schedule is 4 ten-hour days, leaving you plenty of time to relax and recharge with your loved ones.

What you need to be successful at Opus Packaging:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Work safely.

It’d be great if you also have:

• Previous experience in warehouse or packaging environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including tape measures, micrometers, and other tools as required by specific jobs.

During a normal workday you can expect to:

• Bend, reach, stoop, squat and stand for 8 hours.
• Have good hand - eye coordination.
• Occasional lifting of 50 pounds and frequent lifting of 10-20 pounds.
• Understand machine set-up, machine runs, plant data entry, handwork, or assembly assignments.
