The Lead Metal Fabricator oversees the fabrication process of various steel light fixtures, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role requires strong team management skills, proficiency in CNC machine operation, blueprint reading, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of fabricators in a manufacturing environment.
• Utilize computer skills for task management, scheduling, and documentation.
• Operate CNC machines to fabricate light fixtures according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Fabricate a variety of steel materials, focusing on lighter grades suitable for light fixtures.
• Maintain a consistent work history demonstrating longevity and commitment to excellence.
• Uphold high standards of craftsmanship and artistry in fabrication processes.
• Work independently and efficiently without constant supervision.
• Utilize knowledge of AutoCAD for design and construction purposes (preferred).
• Construction experience is advantageous.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in team management or supervision within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in computer skills for task management and documentation.
• Competence in CNC machine operation for fabrication tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
