An international supplier of industrial equipment is currently searching for a motivated Field Service Technician to support their operations in the greater Cleveland, OH area.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with field service and familiarity with the installation and repair of air compressors and fluid processing equipment.

Travel is generally local to regional, with occasional overnights on an as-needed basis. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities Include : Conduct preventative, general, and emergency maintenance on equipment and machinery (air compressors, valves, fluid processing equipment, etc.

onsite at customer locationsTroubleshoot PLC and related electrical systems Provide remote / virtual support to customers via phone and email as neededTracking of tool and material inventoryCreation of maintenance activity reports for upper managementOther duties as assigned Field Service Technician Requirements Include : High school diploma or GED requiredValid driver’s license and clean driving record is requiredPrevious familiarity with air compression systems, PLC systems, and customer support is preferredAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating, and maintenance documentsGood communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environmentStrong problem-solving skills and time management abilityThis position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment.

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
