An international industrial machinery manufacturer in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Controls Engineer who is responsible supporting clients in the development of automation systems.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design and modify equipment for building and assembling electrical components
• Assist with creation of wiring programs, wire routing schematics and documentation of systems
• Write and debug robot and HMI servo programs per specifications
• Assist with schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
• Panel design including selection of components and creating purchase orders
• Supervise control system construction and installation
• Travel to customer sites facilities following installation for modifications and troubleshooting of systems

Requirements:

• Prefer at least an Associates degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Prefer 5 years of experience in machine tools, building controls and troubleshooting control systems
• PLC and HMI programming
• Robot programming (FANUC preferred)
• Prefer experience with AutoCAD Electrical
• Ability to travel up to 50 percent
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
