An international equipment manufacturing company is actively seeking a Process Technician to join their facility near Buford, GA.

Responsibilities of Process Technician

• Assembles hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Handles fitting parts, wiring, soldering, tubing, and installing options in sub-assembly and final assembly.
• Installs power and water hook-ups and oil filling.
• Prepares sub-assemblies and related parts for painting.
• Paints machines and assemblies as needed.
• Performs fabrication and welding.
• Prepares and tags machinery for customer shipment.
• Responsible for documentation, part stocking, and locating materials.
• Performs incoming part inspection per drawing.
• Performs building and equipment maintenance.
• Safely uses and disposes of cleaning and protective solvents.
• Any and all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications of Process Technician:

• High school diploma or higher education is preferred
• Experience working with high and low voltage electrical wiring and connections
• Proficient at reading and understanding electrical and hydraulic drawings and schematics
• Working knowledge to use mechanical, electrical, and machinist measuring tools and gages
• Electrical / Mechanical / Plumbing training or certification is a big plus
• Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening)
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
