Job Title: Receptionist

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-6PM

Pay: $25-$30/hour (based on experience)

Apply for this full time, direct hire Receptionist position with a reputable client of ours, a leading partner for major retailers and brands around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Stay informed with where everyone is on any given day (traveling, PTO, etc.) which includes individuals checking out and coming back.
• Have relevant contact information available to answer questions quickly and accurately.
• Field all incoming calls and screen calls for local associates.
• Order lunch for associates.
• Arrange catering for customer appointments as requested.
• Enter PTO, travel arrangements, jury duty into appointment books so that timesheets are approved one week in advance.
• Maintain timesheets (prepare daily sheets, put sheets out for next day).
• Ensure everyone is accounted for and make sure time sheets are correct.
• Prepare updated phone directories on the first of every month.
• Order office supplies and replenish supply closet when needed.
• Manage issues involving facilities and office functions (lights, A/C problems).
• Enter all travel and appointments on a weekly schedule.
• Ensure travel calendars match appointment schedule.
• Prepare FedEx packages to China and prepare customs invoice
• Package items the best way possible and itemize contents in package.
• Gather daily mail, separate, and put in basket for distribution.
• Assign return authorizations to approved return requests and distribute.

Qualifications:

• Very organized with great attention to detail
• Previous experience in a receptionist or secretarial role
• Experienced with customer interaction
