Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Hospice Chaplain position.

In this role, you will provide for the spiritual needs of hospice participants and families through coordination, communication and liaison with the chaplains of Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. and other local community spiritual providers as requested. You will collaborate with Acts chaplains in the preparation, evaluation and execution of the spiritual component of the interdisciplinary care plan to assure that the aims of continuity and comprehensiveness of care are accomplished.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Demonstrated competence in assessment, counseling, advocacy, and developmental and cultural diversity related to the end of life
  • Minimum of two years experience in hospice or a transferable, clinical venue of practice such as long-term care or hospital care is necessary
  • On the job training of 3-6 months is required to learn hospice policies and procedures

Pay Range

$64,000.00 - $78,500.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
