Japanese CPA firm seeks a Japanese bilingual Accounting Staff for our Torrance, CA or NYC location.
Job Title: Accountant

Work hours: 8:30 – 5:30 (1hr lunch break) - Hybrid
Visa Support: Possible
Overtime: Possible. Overtime may be requested during month-end close (1st week of each month) depending on engagements and client needs, but typically limited to up to 5 hours per week, if any.
Business Trip: None
Salary range: $45K - $80K depending on rank and experience
Bonus: Possible, once per year

Requirements: Bookkeeping, Accounting, and/or Tax experience is strongly preferred. As part of the interview process, we will have candidates take a brief exam that covers topics relating to accounting and taxes (can be completed in less than 30min). Accounting major a big plus. CPA is not required but a significant plus. Other accounting firm and Accounting / Tax related outsourcing firm experience also a big plus.
Job Description:
Accounting Staff: Primarily will be assigned either data entry, book closing, tax return preparations, etc. depending on available assignments. Will work closely with either a Senior or Manager.
Accounting Senior: Will be assigned to handle clients, coordinating and performing bookkeeping, monthly and quarterly closing, tax return preparations, etc. depending on assignments. Will work closely with Managers or Sr. Managers.
