Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to a 36 year old male that’s wheel chair bound that Is in need of personal care services. This role involves assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being
Duties
- Provide personal hygiene assistance such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Monitor and report changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Engage clients in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being
Requirements
- Experience in caregiving
- Knowledge of different behaviors
- Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to individuals in family home environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.50 per hour
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- BLS Certification (Required)
