Acuren is Hiring an AutoCAD Computer Operator - Longview, TX Near Longview, TX

Acuren is currently in a search of a Computer Operator with CAD experience to support our operation in Longview, TX. This position will play a key role in computer documentation, providing drafting support, and will report directly to the division manager. This is an onsite position that will report to our Longview, TX office on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings from field sketches and notes.
  • Enter data into mechanical integrity data management system.
  • Analyze data pertaining to equipment's mechanical integrity.
  • Graphically document inspection information.
  • Review documents and drawings for accuracy.
  • Prepare inspection reports.
  • Manage and organize inspection information.
  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
  • Organize and report test results
  • Perform specialized inspections
  • May instruct and supervise others
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Proficient in 2D AutoCAD.
  • Proficient and experienced with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Able to type 30 WPM and 10 key by touch.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Must have a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
