Key Skills Required:

Selenium for UI Testing:

• Proficient in writing automated tests using Selenium WebDriver.
• Familiar with Selenium Grid for parallel test execution.
• Ability to identify web elements using various locators like ID, XPath, CSS Selectors, etc.
• Experience in cross-browser testing and mobile browser testing.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language supported by Selenium (Preferably C#).
• Understanding of Page Object Model (POM) design pattern for test maintenance and readability1.

RestSharp for API Testing:

• Strong understanding of RESTful services and HTTP methods.
• Experience in creating and executing API tests using RestSharp.
• Ability to perform data-driven testing using RestSharp and NUnit.
• Familiarity with serialization and deserialization of JSON/XML responses.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization techniques in API testing.

SpecFlow for BDD:

• Proficient in writing Gherkin scenarios and implementing step definitions.
• Familiarity with SpecFlow hooks and tags for controlling test execution.
• Ability to integrate SpecFlow with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with source control management tools like Git, Azure Devops.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with the POD to understand requirements and create BDD scenarios.
• Execute automated tests and analyse results to ensure software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the testing process.
