eCommerce Senior Business Analyst – Job Description

Key responsibilities:

The eCommerce business analyst role will span across all aspects of the eCommerce implementation phases from Discovery, design, deliver to embed. The role will be responsible for the analysis and informational deliverables to support the implementation and operationalisation of the eCommerce solution.

Responsibilities include.

· Engage Stakeholders/SME’s to capture functional & non-functional requirements and the relevant endorsement.

· Capture business process and publish for operational use.

· Define and document source data systems, data mapping and logic requirements for implementation in collaboration with architects, solution designers and business SMEs.

· Integration data collection & analysis for issue identification and resolution prior to integration.

· Support implementation with analysis and requirements traceability to enable success criteria for project closure.

· Support and analyse procurement vendor response to support summary reporting for review and approvals to proceed to contract execution

· Creation and support testing scenarios and testing phases.

· Creation and support of communications and training content.

· Support project artefact completion and drive endorsements from stakeholders.

· Support UX collaboration and creation.

Skills and experience:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience as a business analyst

· Experience in eCommerce implementation within an enterprise environment.

· Strong attention to detail and organisational, negotiation skills • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to communicate at all levels in a multiple stakeholder environment.

· Experience with tools and techniques required in delivering key responsibilities specified above

· Excellent presentation skills to present the outcomes and findings of the activities with the stakeholder groups.

· Professional, educational, or similar qualification as a business analyst

· Experience working in agile project environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience in working with Not-for-Profit sector organizations.

• eCommerce process and warehousing experience

You will be detail orientated with the ability to analyse information and data for both business & technical requirements.
