Adam Personnel, Inc. is Hiring a Billing coordinator Near Newark, NJ

Our client, a law firm, is seeking an experienced Electronic Billing Coordinator.

Summary / Objective

This position supports various aspects of finance and accounting for the Firm. The Electronic Billing Coordinator is responsible for the overall management, set-up, implementation, and maintenance of the firm’s electronic billing (eBilling) systems and works directly with all stakeholders included but not limited to third-party vendors and firm clients as related to the successful submission and troubleshooting of all electronic billing.

The position requires solid business experience combined with strong analytical skill. The candidate will need to possess strong problem-solving skills, work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail, decision making skills, and ability to work well with others

Essential Functio

nsDirect and maintain electronic billing processes and requirements; serve as liaison among clients, billing attorneys, staff, billers, and third-party vendor;

facilitate communication to ensure timely and correct implementation and on-going functionality of electronic billing for the Firm’s clients.

Ensure adherence to Firm’s billing policies and procedure

s.Coordinate data collection for e-billing matter set-up and on-going maintenanc

e : Oversee matter set-up, including timekeeper and billing rate set up and approval, both on the vendor site and within the Firm’s billing syste

m.Assist billing attorneys in creating and maintaining matter budgets and matter plans or status report

s.Review and process e-billing documentation according to attorney instruction and department procedures. Ensure effective and detailed information flow within department, internal, and external client

Collaborate with internal clients to define special billing need

s.Review rates, discounts, addresses, and other components of e-bill for accuracy. Identify discrepancies and independently gather resources and information needed to complete proces

s.Review final bills to ensure data integrity. Proactively collaborate with billers to process and transmit error-free e-bill

s.Provide research assistance as needed to resolve e-billing discrepancies and / or issue

s.Locate data and information from other sources that may not be readily availabl

e.Design and maintain reports for e-billing analysis. Apply and administer other application tools as neede

d.Assist other billers, and accounting staff as needed with all e-billing concern

s.Recommend appropriate solutions. Respond promptly and completely to client, attorney, and department inquirie

s.Coordinate and prepare special e-billing projects as neede

d.Attend department and group meetings as needed to keep up to date on department policies and procedure

s.Provide backup assistance as needed for other accounting department functions such as Billing, Cash Receipts and Collection

s.Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigne
