Who is RAVE Restaurant Group?

Based in The Colony (northern Dallas), Texas, RAVE Restaurant Group [NASDAQ: RAVE] is the home of two exciting restaurant brands: Pie Five Pizza - the nations leading fast casual pizza brand, and Pizza Inn - one of the nations first dine-in pizza chains, operating domestically and internationally, for the past 65 years.

The Marketing Manager Role

The Marketing Manager for RAVE Restaurant Group strategically plans and implements marketing, communications and public relations efforts for both the Pie 5 and Pizza Inn brands. This role includes broad responsibility for development and execution of digital & traditional promotional tactics, as well as planning future promotions and menu innovations that continue to build the brand equity of our brands.

To excel in this role, the successful candidate must be able to perform their duties with excellence while working in a fast-paced yet fun environment with minimal direct supervision. The Marketing Manager may be asked to:

oversee implementation and execution of all elements of strategic marketing plans for tentpole/limited time offer promotions including social media posts, in-store point-of-purchase materials, digital and traditional advertising, public relations communications, and out-of-home promotions such as billboards, direct mailers, coupon wraps & FSIs

facilitate Creative Requests from franchisees with our creative director and graphic designers, as well as oversee successful completion and implementation of those creative assets

maintain and update the online presence of Pie Five and Pizza Inn brands and individual locations including websites, social media pages, and online listings (i.e. Google Maps, Yelp!, etc)

manage our customer feedback programs and handle guest feedback and communication via social media channels

manage Marketing vendor partner day-to-day communications and relationships

facilitate, oversee and execute new, reimaged and local store marketing support tactics

conduct quantitative analysis of the performance of our national and local promotions

prepare and send-out communications between the Executive, Marketing and Operations teams and our franchisees

work with our Executive Chef to develop future menu innovations

manage and track Marketing budgets

Conceptual Ability- strong executions, creative, strategic, analytical and organizational skills

The ideal Marketing Manager takes great pride in delivering their responsibilities on-time and within budget. They are able to move projects forward quickly with minimal supervision or daily oversight, but has no fear asking clarifying questions or asking for help when needed. The Marketing Manager has a hunger to learn all elements of brand marketing and to enhance their strategic and executional skills. This individual can contribute independently, yet enjoys being an integral part of the Marketing and Operations team.

Who Will The Marketing Manager Report To and Work With?

The Marketing Manager with report directly to the Vice President of Operations/General Manager of Pie Five Pizza, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Director of Marketing for U.S. Pizza Inn. In addition, the Marketing Manager may at times work with our Director of Operations and Training, Marketing & Operations Analyst, Franchisee Business Consultants, in-store Field Trainers and our franchisees.
