Adams Street is seeking a talented Analyst/Associate to join the Marketing Team. Focused primarily on the execution and development of the firm's Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, the Associate position is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of experience to deepen their knowledge of private markets and develop an interesting career in marketing and business development. The individual in this role will be directly involved in the global growth efforts of one of the world's premier private markets investment managers.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate intellectual curiosity, strong writing skills, a sharp business acumen, and a collaborative nature with colleagues. Core responsibilities include sourcing, crafting, and maintaining responses for RFPs, Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and other written client materials. The individual will be responsive to requests from prospects, consultants, clients, GPs, and others. Additional responsibilities include supporting thought leadership development, creating digital marketing content and a range of other marketing and reputation management activities.
This role is highly visible and will work with colleagues across all levels and locations in the US, Europe, and Asia to coordinate RFP responses, specifically working closest with Investor Relations and your Marketing Team colleagues.
This is a hybrid role, with a flexible mix of remote and office work.
What you will do everyday

• Create high quality written content for RFPs, DDQs and routine consultant database updates to catalyze positive business outcomes
• Support Marketing Team with various initiatives including website development, presentation materials, investor conferences, white-papers, and other ad-hoc requests
• Maintain up-to-date responses within Adams Street's RFP content management system
• Work closely with subject matter experts to communicate specialized topics clearly to clients and prospects
• Develop expertise in Adams Street's private markets investment strategies
• Collaborate effortlessly with colleagues across the firm and around the world
• Work to understand systems and processes employed by the Marketing and Investor Relations teams
• Lead and/or contribute to special projects or ad-hoc requests

Essential qualities

• Have positive energy, be intellectually inquisitive, and have impact
• Graduated from a top-tier undergraduate university, ideally with a business, marketing or communications focus
• At least 3 years' experience in a professional setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Works well with a talented and self-motivated team of professionals
• Knowledge of private markets a plus, but not necessary. Intellectual and emotional aptitude is a requirement
• Salesforce fluency and content management system experience is a plus
