Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Consultant to join our team on an as needed consultant basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support across various projects. This role requires a strong background in software development, with expertise in multiple programming languages and technologies. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our development team, to understand their processes, and assist in design and development of custom software solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Duties:

- Provide technical expertise and guidance on software development projects.
- Test software solutions using Java, C , and other relevant programming languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement software solutions that meet company requirements.
- Utilize Agile development methodologies to help deliver high-quality software solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure software solutions meet security and compliance requirements, including RBAC and other relevant security protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- Implement APIs and integrate with other systems and services.
- Help implement software documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.
- Utilize JavaScript and other relevant scripting languages to support software development and testing.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in peer-to-peer testing to ensure software solutions meet quality and security standards.
- Collaborate to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
- Participate in project planning and status meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of our business requirements and technical needs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on technical consulting and project management.
- Strong proficiency in Java, C , and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and software development tools
- Experience with relevant cloud platforms like Firebase
- Familiarity with security protocols such as RBAC and experience with software development security best practices.
- Experience with REACT UI
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and other relevant scripting languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight project deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.

- Experience in development of Android Apps

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
