AdaptiveStack is looking for a A qualified IT Project Manager who must have experience managing Information Technology related projects. Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies. Must have experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks.

A Bachelor's Degree in Business Discipline and 7 years' experience is required. 8 additional years of experience required without a degree.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for the overall, day to day management of a specific task order or group of task orders affecting the same or related/interdependent systems.
• conceives, plans, and executes a wide variety of projects requiring exploration of subject areas, definition of problems, and development of cost-effective approaches for resolution.
• Schedules, assigns and monitors progress, resolves discrepancies to ensure compliance with work/quality standards and contract/task order requirements.
• ensures that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order(s) are implemented within estimated timeframes.

The Program Manager may serve as the Contractor's authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer's Representative/Technical Representative (COR/COTR), government management personnel.

Skills and Qualification:

• Master’s degree preferred. Bachelor's degree required, AND a minimum of 7 years equivalent work experience. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Mastery of MS Project, Power Point and SharePoint
• Proven experience managing large cross functional technical projects.
• Strong analytical and product management skills with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate those into technology and operational requirements.
• Skilled at meeting preparation, facilitation, documentation and follow up.
• Ability to grasp and work effectively with client chain-of-command.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including excellent command of English language and ability to communicate effectively in formal settings.
• Knowledge and practical experience implementing Agile and project management best practices.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background investigation, including credit check.
• Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting Department of Treasury or DoD.
• Preference will be given to those individuals where their primary residency is located in a qualified HUBZone (http://map.sba.gov/hubzone/maps/)
