**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting principles and be proficient in GAAP. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization through accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. **Responsibilities:** - Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently - Verify approvals on all invoices and check requests - Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies - Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Maintain accurate records and files of invoices and payments **Qualifications:** - Prior experience in accounts payable or related field - Proficiency in 10 key typing and data entry - Knowledge of HRIS systems for payroll processing - Familiarity with public accounting practices - Experience with Paychex or similar payroll software is a plus - Understanding of benefits administration processes - Ability to perform account reconciliations accurately - Knowledge of general ledger accounting principles - Familiarity with UltiPro software is preferred This position offers a competitive salary, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive work environment.
