Role Description

This is a contract role for a Special Education Teacher. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), assessing student progress, collaborating with colleagues and parents, and implementing specialized strategies to support students with disabilities. This is an on-site role located in Statesville, NC.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with disabilities
• Strong teaching skills
• Experience working with middle school students
• Knowledge of Special Education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with assistive technology, knowledge of different learning styles, and experience with behavior management techniques.
