This team is driving new collaborations, expanding community connection to care, and driving state-wide maternal and infant health quality improvement initiatives.
Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative (CPCQC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works with healthcare facilities, community-based organizations, and families here in Colorado as well as national partners to advance best practices and improve outcomes in maternal and infant health.
As a team, we work to prevent maternal mortality and morbidity, inform and implement evidence-based policy, and address maternal and infant health disparities. Our work is complex, multi-faceted, and so desperately important. We cannot wait to work with a new team member to focus on the throughlines of perinatal health and increase impact.

Position Overview: The Data and Analytics Program Manager will lead the planning, analysis, reporting, and coordination for CPCQC’s data needs and infrastructure. This role is critical to CPCQC’s strategic efforts and will function across a team of program managers, quality improvement coaches, and a robust portfolio of perinatal initiatives.
This is an anchor position in a multi-year plan to establish a data and analytics team within the organization. In the first year, the Data and Analytics Program Manager will be involved in a data infrastructure strategy project to assess core capabilities and analysis tools for the organization.
This is a full-time, salaried position working in the state of Colorado. Candidates are required to either currently live in Colorado or relocate to Colorado within six months of the hire date at personal expense for this position. While this position is remote, there is an expectation to attend quarterly team meetings in person around the Denver Metro Area and the ability to visit with partners and participate in on-site discussions, conferences, and events as needed in areas around the state.
RequirementsResponsibilities:
  • Monitor program-specific and organizational goals and outcomes; including creating control charts, run charts, regular reports, and statistical analysis across multiple programs and initiatives.
  • Develop strategies and manage the data for clinical quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and processes.
  • Communicate data analysis and outcomes through written reports and presentations, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Design data collection methodologies, metrics, and elements to measure project outcomes, with support from the Quality Improvement, Integrated Behavioral Health, and Community Engagement teams
  • Work with Quality Improvement Coaches to identify trends, opportunities, and reports for clinical interventions and improvements at hospitals based upon data analyses.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of collected data; perform data import, cleaning, verification, analysis, and visualization.
  • Lead efforts to identify disparities in healthcare delivery and outcomes through training, collection, analysis, and reporting on outcomes by race, ethnicity, and payor.
  • Document progress towards objectives for CPCQC partners, including grant funders and advisory boards, and contribute to grant reporting.
  • Design and manage data systems and tools, including Tableau and REDCap, creating and managing data management plans, with executive support.
  • Provide technical assistance to partner organizations to enhance their data collection and evidence-based practices; assist in onboarding healthcare facilities to CPCQC quality improvement initiatives, including managing participation agreements, data training, and ongoing hospital data entry support
  • Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams providing analytical support for quality improvement, perinatal mental health, and other patient safety projects.
  • Design, develop, and automate clinical quality and organizational performance metrics, maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of data requirements.
  • Maintain a customer focus, establishing collaborative relationships with external partners and staff, ensuring timely support.
Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related field; relevant experience in healthcare data-related fields may substitute.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail
  • Significant hands-on experience with statistical, data analytics, collection, and visualization programs and/or programming languages (such as SQL, R, Python; Stata, SAS, or SPSS; REDCap, Qualtrics; Tableau, PowerBI). Initially, this role will work with Tableau and Excel, with data collection tools designed in REDCap.
  • Strong data visualization skills
  • An understanding of HIPAA requirements for protecting personal health information
  • Experience with Quality Improvement methodologies is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present data to technical and non-technical audiences with skills in data “storytelling”
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with multi-disciplinary teams.

Compensation And BenefitsThe annual salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000 based on qualifications. This position also includes a benefit package (medical, dental, retirement), and unlimited paid time off. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
