We are hiring a Cook for our growing team within our Masterpiece Cafe within our Enterprise division! As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with our menu and quality standards within our cafe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure that food preparation areas are clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding ingredient orders to ensure freshness and availability.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate cooking schedules and ensure timely delivery of food orders.
• Assist with menu planning and development as needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure.

Key Experience and Education Needed:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food preparation preferred

Other Qualifications to be Considered:

• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Recent experience in managing food services in an acute hospital.
• Ability to work in a team
• Very good communication skills
• Excellent physical condition and stamina
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
• Working around hot surfaces
