Addiction Recovery Medical Services is currently seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Dosing Nurse RN or LPN. As a Dosing Nurse, you will be responsible for administering medication to patients and monitoring their response to treatment. This is a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art outpatient substance abuse treatment program, where you will be able to make a difference in the lives of patients on a daily basis. At ARMS, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality care to our patients. We offer a range of services, including medication assisted treatment, individual and group counseling, and frequent visits with a Nurse Practitioner for the treatment of Substance Use Disorder. Our team of dedicated professionals includes full-time medical service providers, master level comprehensive substance abuse counselors, and loving and caring staff who are invested in the well being and recovery of our patients. We are licensed to treat with methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone and are CARF accredited. Our Office Hours:Mon - Thursday: 5:00am-1:00pm Fridays: 5:00am-12:00pm Saturday: 6:30am-9:30am Sunday: Invite only 7:30am-8:00am We are open on Holidays from 7:30am-8:00am Responsibilities
Administer medication to patients according to prescribed dosage and schedule
Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medication
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Participate in the development of treatment plans for patients
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide holistic care
Educate patients about their medication and treatment plan
Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
Requirements
Active RN or LPN license in good standing in North Carolina
Preferably 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in addiction medicine, psychiatry or mental health
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Familiarity with EMR systems
Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays (holiday hours are 7:30am-8:00am)
Willingness to continuously learn and grow in the field of addiction medicine
