Addictions Recovery Center is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner Near Medford, OR

KEY INFORMATION

Title: Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Type: Full Time (4-day workweek, 32 hours)

Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are seeking full and part time LPNs to join our team in providing care in ARC’s Medically Monitored Detox Unit. The successful candidates will work approximately 24 hours a week part time or 36 hours a week full time in a medically monitored detox unit in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of providers.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to perform pre-admission medical screening, nursing assessments, and collect other pertinent medical data, as required
  • Provide oversight of patients who present pre-admission, at admission, during treatment, or post admission with prescribed medication assisted treatment medications
  • ·Maintain communication chains with all key collaborators and other staff, as needed
  • ·Ensure any final recommendation, admission, care, or treatment is conducted in accordance with orders
  • ·Ensure compliance with appropriate policies/procedures/protocols for client medical care
  • Ability to gather and assess patient/client information to evaluate needs
  • Ensure new orders and provider instructions are appropriately recorded in client record
  • Work with patients with a trauma-informed and compassionate approach

Education, Credentials and Skills should include:

  • Oregon Licensed Nurse Practitioner
  • Medical Practitioner a plus
  • Experience in addictions treatment or similar settings highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to manage all tasks and responsibilities in a highly dynamic environment
  • Strong organization skills
  • Demonstrate computer literacy and typing proficiency sufficient to operate a computer software including Microsoft office programs and EHR systems
  • Spanish bilingual preferred

Compensation and benefits include:

  • Most ARC employees are scheduled four-days a week to support their ability to maintain a healthy work and life balance; medical and sobering positions are scheduled to work three days a week
  • Starting salary for a FNP ranging from $111,452.12 to $128,169.94 annually, depending on credentials, skills, and experience
  • $3,000.00 sign-on bonus for the successful candidates (paid in two installments, 50% at three months active employment, remaining 50% at six months active employment)
  • Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
  • Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
  • Ten (10) Paid Holidays each year: New Year’s, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
