Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are seeking a full-time RN to join the ARC team in our Fresh Start Withdrawal Management program to provide trauma-informed patient care to clients during the early first steps of their recovery journey.
ARC RNs play a vital role in the treatment of patients undergoing withdrawal management from substances. They not only provide medical care, but also a holistic awareness of the patient’s need for support, which is equally as important for addressing the behavioral health aspects of addiction. ARC RNs provide a professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate presence to ensure a safe and supportive environment, reduce patient anxiety, and help foster a therapeutic alliance, which are all critical for an individual’s successful recovery and long-term wellbeing.
The successful candidates will work approximately 36 hours a week in our medically monitored detox and withdrawal management unit in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of providers. Duties will include but are not limited to:
