Accountant I – ENTRY LEVELJob Title: Jr. Accountant (Entry Level)Location: Northern Virginia Duration: Contract, Contract-To-HirePay: $18 - 24 / hr (depending on experience) About Client: Our client is a leading provider of accounting services, one of the fastest growing companies in the DMV area. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be able to work comfortably with numbers in a team environment. They will ultimately prepare financial statements and analyze balance sheets and general ledger accounts. Must be willing to learn and grow!
Position Summary

Position Summary
- Looking for entry level candidates, who have 1-3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Performs daily fund accounting activities in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures, such as, maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports.
- Accounts Payable and invoice processing/Accounts Receivable processing
- Familiar with a variety of general accounting concepts practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related
- 0-1 years’ experience internship/corporate experience
