Our client is a leading provider of home repair and maintenance services, dedicated to helping homeowners. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented Accountant to join their team and support their financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documentation.
• Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities.
• Support internal and external audit processes as needed.
• Adhere to accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
