Addison Group is Hiring a BA -Senior Business Analyst (Operations Product Team) Near Elmhurst, IL
Job DescriptionThe Senior Business Analyst, Operations Product Team will be responsible for engaging with operations stakeholders & supporting groups to proactively identify opportunities, gather requirements, evaluate business cases, prioritize backlog, manage delivery using agile methodologies, etc. This individual will be the key subject matter expert of operations related process handoffs, data mapping, work flows, applications & tools, etc.
Responsibilities:
Engage with operations including central services, procurement teams, etc. in evaluating repair management process & application improvement opportunities
Coordinate with operations team key stakeholders to oversee continued transformation of operations processes
Partner with key stakeholders in operations & corporate functions to proactively identify process improvement opportunities that drive business value and help meet strategic goals
Engage with other product teams, product support (application development & infrastructure) teams, 3rd party vendors / SaaS providers in developing functionalities to cater to business requirements
Work with Product manager, Operations Product, key operations stakeholder and other SMEs to develop a roadmap, develop business cases, assess value & impacts, identify key metrics, etc.
Participate in solution development, proof of concepts & pilots as needed in order to validate options
Analyze and document business requirements for enhancements or projects requested by stakeholders that require changes to operations related applications, software, integrations, etc.
Synthesize business requirements into user stories for other product and product support teams
Participate in scrum processes to help groom backlog, prioritize changes and ensure sprints are executed as planned
Manage testing including developing test cases, executing functional testing, coordinating UAT, etc.
Analyze and compare datasets or system data, looking for trends, issues, solutions, or areas for improvement
Own the resolution of operations related application issues
Work with IT PMO / scrum master to oversee sprints and manage delivery
Participate in project management activities, coordinating efforts between internal business partners and IT; this may also include clear communication of status updates, timing of deliverables, budget adherence, etc. to leaders, team members, stakeholders, etc.
Provide assistance to peers, developers, and IT support team by reviewing issues reported from end users, determining and reconciling discrepancies, solving for root cause of errors, and helping to establish procedures to correct them
Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
7 years of experience in retail, CPG, manufacturing industry or similar
5 years of experience as business analyst or continuous improvement analyst or similar preferred
3 years of experience in ERP (SAP, Oracle, or similar) functional / product support
3 years of experience in Product Management
Experience in automotive repair industry is a plus
Experience in running projects using agile methodology is preferred
Knowledge of product management concepts & processes is a plus
