Job Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers via phone, email, and mail to collect outstanding debts.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers to resolve delinquent accounts.
  • Update customer account records and notes with collection activities.
  • Analyze aging reports and prioritize accounts for collection efforts.
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and address customer concerns.
  • Prepare and present reports on collection activities, account status, and aging trends to management.
  • Monitor and enforce credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline collection efforts and increase efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of collection laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Professionalism and integrity in dealing with sensitive financial information and customer interactions.
