Job Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email, and mail to collect outstanding debts.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers to resolve delinquent accounts.
- Update customer account records and notes with collection activities.
- Analyze aging reports and prioritize accounts for collection efforts.
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and address customer concerns.
- Prepare and present reports on collection activities, account status, and aging trends to management.
- Monitor and enforce credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline collection efforts and increase efficiency.
- Associates Degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of collection laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Professionalism and integrity in dealing with sensitive financial information and customer interactions.
