Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
As a Senior Software Developer, you will provide subject matter expertise to the team and the customer, aiming to make a significant impact across the federal government. This role requires extensive experience in software development, infrastructure as code, containerization, and CI/CD automation.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in software development to the team and customer.
- Relating to Kubernetes: research, design, test, evaluate, and implement.
- Create and optimize all functions that is needed for a strong core platform infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the team and the customer daily to ensure project success.
- Establish and maintain a high level of client trust and confidence with your software development skills.
- Assist with troubleshooting issues and providing solutions that fit customers' needs.
Requirements
- 8 years as a software developer or DevOps engineer.
- At least 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, Kubernetes (K8), and CI/CD automation.
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Proficiency in software development languages such as .NET, Java, Python, and Go; experience in a DevSecOps environment.
- Experience with Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
- Experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Rancher, OpenShift).
- Ability to work well both on a team and individually.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in hardening and securing containers.
- Previous experience with commercial cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Innovative thinking for troubleshooting issues and providing solutions that meet customer needs.
