Title: Human Resources Manager
Employment Type: Full Time - Contract to Hire
Location: Denton, TX
Salary: $40-45/hour
Hours: 8am-5pm Role Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
7-10 years of Human Resources experience with 1-3 years within a leadership role.
Multi-state Benefits experience specifically pertaining to: benefits enrollment & compliance with federal, state, and local regulations & international labor laws.
Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resource matters including, but not limited to, federal and local regulatory laws and practices, such as FMLA, ADAAA, OSHA, FLSA, ERISA, Worker's Compensation and Title VII laws.
HRIS system experience
Responsibilities
Our client is looking for candidates who obtain experience with the follow duties:
Provide strategic direction and support to the HR team and business leaders on HR matters.
Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
Provide support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
Manage the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Maintain compliance with international, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Assist with other HR responsibilities including compensation, benefits, and training and development initiatives.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintain personnel and human resources related files.
Contact references and perform background checks.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
