One of Addison Group's clients is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys on their team.

Job Details:

• Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
• Type: Direct Hire
• Location: Hybrid schedule in NW DC
• Salary: $ 75-$90k, depending on experience

Candidate profile and qualifications

• Experience in 5-10 years of litigation legal assistant experience, preferably within a mid-large sized law firm
• Must have experience with: word processing, formatting and editing of litigation documents, including both civil and criminal pleadings, motions, discovery, trial materials and appellate briefs
• Must have federal and state e-filing experience
• Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite familiarity with electronic document management systems
• Soft Skills : personable, team player, ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Education : BA/BS required

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Word processing, formatting and editing of litigation documents, including both civil and criminal pleadings, motions, discovery, trial materials and appellate briefs.
• Supporting multiple attorneys with scheduling meetings, processing payments and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Attending court hearings and handling court filing, both electronically and physically.
• Proofreading and reviewing all written work
