Responsibilities:

• Ensures engineering designs are in full compliance with customers’ requirements and all relevant codes and standards and carries out final approval of design packages.
• Produces conceptual designs and detailed engineering analysis using available methods.
• Prepares design specifications for new products to meet client and industry requirements.
• Prepares assembly drawings, manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials.
• Increasing productivity through management of process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methods

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
• 3 years of experience working automotive or aerospace industry
• Experience working in steel manufacturing environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and equipment operation, with experience in AutoCAD
