Our client, a national well-established urgent care, is hiring a Medical Assistant/X-ray Technician to assist their quickly growing practice! This is a direct hire position that offers monthly bonus incentives based on clinic performance! Address: Thornton, CO 80233 Pay Rate: $28 - $32 /hr Hours: Full-time hours with 2 schedule options-
Sunday (8am-5pm), Monday & Tuesday (8am-8pm), and 1/2 day Wednesday (8am-2pm) OR
1/2 Wednesday (2pm-8pm), Thursday & Friday (8am-8pm) and Saturday (8am-5pm)
Day To Day
Will be a combo of MA and Xray Tech (75%-90% day of day is MA work - maybe even 100% on some days)
Triage patients
Take vitals (temp, pulse, blood pressure, etc.)
Prepare room and equipment for physician to conduct examination and treatment
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Swabbing
Injections
Blood draws
Xray responsibilities
Requirements
Associates degree or equivalent from a two year college or tech school OR Six months to one year related experience
ARRT Registered
MA Certification, Practical Nursing Liscense, EMT or Paramedic certification or license preferred
Urgent Care experience (huge )
Willing to train but must be certified with ARRT or LSO
