About The RoleAddison Group is excited to support the search for a Payroll Administrator for one of our valued non-profit clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who is passionate about making an impact in the non-profit sector. The Payroll Administrator will manage full-cycle, multi-state payroll operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. Our client is looking for someone who can balance both manual and automated payroll processes, driving process improvements and supporting their mission-driven work.
Responsibilities
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll for 300 employees across multiple states, ensuring timely and precise payroll processing.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for payroll process improvements, providing insights and recommending best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, as well as local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, reports, and documentation, guaranteeing consistency and reliability.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly to ensure employee satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure data accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll-related transactions.
  • Manage payroll tax submissions, deductions, and other related documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on payroll laws and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
  • Support year-end payroll processes, including the preparation and distribution of W-2 forms.
  • Provide training and support to new payroll team members as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, and familiarity with state and federal payroll regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and prior experience with multi-state payroll are required.
