Addison Group is seeking a Procurement Supervisor for a client in Pryor Oklahoma.

Starting at $80,000 based on experience

1. Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the organization's operational goals and objectives. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, terms, and delivery schedules.
2. Inventory Management: Work closely with production and inventory teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to support production schedules. Utilize inventory management systems to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
3. Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize supply chain performance. Identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and lead cross-functional teams to implement changes and achieve operational excellence.
4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to procurement and supply chain management. Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier quality, delivery, and performance to minimize disruptions to operations.

Requirements

1. 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field, preferably in manufacturing.

2. Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.

3. Experience as a supervisor/manager

4. Knowledge of procurement best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
