Pay Rate: $100,000 - $140,000 / year (DOE) annual bonus & equity

A dynamic early-stage public company headquartered in Seattle, WA, is seeking an SEC Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting Manager to join its team. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely four days a week, with one day in-office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required filings.
• Ensure compliance with all SEC regulations and GAAP requirements.
• Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of earnings releases and other financial communications.
• Stay current with new accounting standards and SEC regulations, assessing their impact on the company.
• Support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in SEC reporting and technical accounting, preferably with a mix of Big 4 and/or industry experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with financial reporting software is a plus.
