Job Summary

This individual will serve as a key resource on all quality requirements, processes, procedures, issues, investigations, etc.

Responsibilities:

§ Assist Quality Management with leading key continuous improvement quality type projects

§ Ability to apply statistical methods to collect data, analyze, interpret, and summarize the information in order to increase production efficiency

§ Works directly with external and internal customers to address and resolve questions, concerns, requirements, complaints, and rejects

§ Collaborates with multiple departments on quality issues, addresses them with urgency, and drives corrective actions to implementation and verification

§ Supports the inspection department, internal investigations and dispositioning of material

§ Conducts internal audits, customer audits, customer visits, and supplier audits as necessary

§ Other duties as needed and assigned

Qualifications

§ Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 8-10 years of work experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

§ Strong problem-solving skills

§ Ability to communicate effectively with customers

§ Ability to use statistical tools and methods to analyze data, make determinations, and provide direction to management

§ Used tools like correlation, regression, gage R&R, process capability, statistical process control, analysis of variance

§ Experience with statistical process control to improve manufacturing capability

§ Ability to project manage multiple key quality type projects with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

§ Strong corrective action background with problem-solving skills and root cause analysis

§ Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

§ Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
