They are currently seeking to add a Staff Accountant to the Accounting team to support the company’s operations and continued growth.
The Accounting Group Is Responsible For
- Maintaining detailed loan accounting records
- Managing their general ledger
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual audited financial statements
- Accounts payable
- Billing and collecting from customers
- Cash tracking reconciliation
- Supporting all aspects of financial reporting
- Proforma accounting analysis and ad hoc requests
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
- One to three years of relevant work experience
- CPA, or demonstrated progress in pursuing CPA is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
- Solid understanding of financial statements, finance and accounting
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Willingness to work and learn in a fast paced environment
- Familiarity with secured loans and loan level accounting is a plus
- Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise is a plus
