Addison Group is Hiring a Support Analyst #5077 Near Westlake, CA

Title: Support Analyst
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Westlake Village, CA
Pay Rate: $40-$43/hr.
The Third Party Vendor Certifications - Engineering Support Analyst will plan and manage setup, configuration and thorough end-to-end testing of third party connections to ensure full, secure functionality in the online banking environment.
This is a customer-facing technical position involving production support, issue troubleshooting and task-based project involvement. The Engineering Support Analyst will interface with multiple groups internally and externally and must be proficient at driving technical conversations amongst different audiences and skill levels -- their involvement level is high, and crucial to the success of our projects. Some situations require heads down problem research and troubleshooting, others require active coordination and collaboration with any number of other parties (Engineering, Technical Support, Third Party partners, customers, etc.), while still others require a level of technical task management to reach a successful project outcome.
The selected candidate will be responsible for working closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, partner vendors and financial institution customers to ensure timely and thorough completion of tasks and processes related to: Single Sign-On and integrated product certifications, vendor migrations, and production issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation of test plans for certifying new imaging or SSO interfaces
  • Capture errors and work with internal parties to proactively and quickly drive to resolution
  • Contact and work directly with technical contacts from third party vendor and financial institution customers in troubleshooting situations
  • Attend project status meetings and give technical input and guidance where needed
  • Manage time effectively with minimal oversight and deliver on project tasks on-time and with accuracy
  • Respond to calls and emails from third party vendors or financial institutions seeking assistance or information
  • Ensure proper staff are engaged and active on production or escalated issues through completion; provide timely updates to the Project Manager and escalate issues when needed
  • Recognize areas for process improvement and work to implement new ideas
  • Work closely with other team members to actively contribute input and assist on a variety of tasks
Required Skills
  • Applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Perforce (P4), CRT, PuTTY or other console application
  • Basic command line proficiency
  • High level knowledge of basic networking and database concepts is required
  • Strong troubleshooting / problem solving experience (including logs/trace research) is a must
  • Environment experience: Windows, UNIX
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective communication across multiple organization levels and with external parties
  • Ability to relay technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to work quickly and accurately while balancing multiple technical projects simultaneously
  • Background in a financial industry and experience handling sensitive data is a must
