Job Description: The Surgical Tech will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, assisting surgeons during procedures, and maintaining sterile techniques throughout surgeries. This role is essential for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and surgical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare case carts for surgeries.
• Maintain sterile techniques from the start to the end of surgeries.
• Inspect and prepare instruments and equipment prior to use.
• Assist in surgical procedures, anticipating surgeon’s needs and managing instruments.
• Inventory and monitor surgical instruments, sponges, and needles.
• Restock surgical supplies and maintain up-to-date surgeon preference cards.
• Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization and assist with operating room cleaning.
• Handle emergency situations and report any issues.
• Maintain required training in areas such as patient safety, infection control, and fire safety.

Qualifications:

• 1 years of orthopedic experience as a scrub tech.
• Experience in spine and joint cases is a plus.
• BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• GED or high school diploma.
• Strong multitasking and detail-oriented skills.
• Comfortable being the first scrub in surgical procedures.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts (6 AM - 4:30 PM), no weekends.
