Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location (city, state): Washington, DC

Industry: Nonprofit

Pay: $30-35/hr

Job Description:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the HR team in sourcing and hiring top talent for the organization. This is a contract position lasting 4-5 months, requiring a background check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs and develop hiring strategies for each role.
  • Identify, attract, and source hard-to-find passive talent using niche sites/channels such as LinkedIn and other social media.
  • Possess working knowledge of compensation skills to determine appropriate salaries.
  • Resolve any issues and barriers associated with facilitating seamless onboarding for new employees.
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with existing employees.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • High-volume recruiting experience.
  • Proficient in ATS/HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Independent, strong written and verbal communication skills, organized, dependable.
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
