The Cyber Information Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems. This role involves analyzing, monitoring, and responding to security events, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cybersecurity, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work in a high-security environment.

This candidate must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week and have an active Top Secret SCI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents using various security tools and technologies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with federal regulations and industry best practices.
• Perform security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Respond to security incidents and provide detailed analysis and recommendations for remediation.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with other IT and security professionals to design and implement secure network architectures.
• Maintain and update security documentation, including security plans, policies, and procedures.
• Provide security awareness training to staff and stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, and recommend enhancements to improve overall security posture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• ICAP OR CCSP OR CISSP OR Cloud Certification
• Proven experience as a Cyber Information Security Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Proficiency with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
• Knowledge of federal security regulations and standards, such as NIST, FISMA, and DoD directives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-security environment and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

• Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices.
• Familiarity with cloud security and related technologies.
• Experience with risk management and security compliance frameworks.
