Position: Accounting Associate
Location: New York, NY (hybrid)
Salary: $60k – $80k Bonus
Hospitality Technology organization seeks an Accounting Associate to join their Team!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial transactions
- Ensure the company policies and guidelines are followed
- Manage the Accounts Payable cycle, maintaining vendor information, obtaining invoice approval, proper coding, entering invoices, and preparing disbursements
- Ensure Expense Reports are accurate and comply with company policy
- Monthly reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Serve as a partner with vendors, responding to account questions
- Assist in Collections, contacting customers regarding outstanding balances and reconciling accounts
- Prepare customer documents for external collection agencies
- Collaborate with Controller assisting in month-end closing
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in Accounting
- Bachelor degree
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience with SAP Concur is a plus
