Addition is Hiring a Payroll Specialist Near Wilmington, DE

We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for a Payroll Specialist. This is your chance to join a sector-leading manufacturing company with a global presence.

What You Can Expect

  • Location – Wilmington, Delaware
  • Salary - $65,000 - $75,000
  • Industry – Manufacturing
  • Work type – Permanent

Main Responsibilities of a Payroll Specialist

  • Accurate preparation and submission of payroll using SAP and ADP systems.
  • A clear understanding of companies’ pays practices/policies.
  • Perform payroll audits.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree is highly desired.)
  • Strong direct payroll experience processing both hourly and salaried payroll
  • Knowledge of payroll principles, practices, procedures, including state and federal regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail
  • Prior SAP, Excel, Access, Outlook, ADP experience
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
